About Kelly
I grew up in Adelaide along the beautiful Karrawirra Parri (River Torrens), where I spent countless hours rock hopping, climbing trees, and fishing rubbish out of the river. It was in these moments that I felt most serene, and my love for Country truly began. Over the years, this love has led me to walk in wild places all across Australia, traveling through and residing in nature, always seeking ways to deepen my relationship with the earth.
I am a journeyer at heart. In my younger years, I physically explored the world around me, but in my mid-thirties, chronic back pain disrupted this lifestyle. At first, I was dismayed by this turn of events. Over time, however, I began to see the journey of chronic pain as a new form of exploration. My body became a landscape to navigate and listen to, much like the natural world I had cherished for so long. This experience, I now recognize, was an initiation into the healing arts—a profound opening to a new way of being in the world.
At the start of my healing journey, I explored a variety of modalities, diets, and therapies in search of healing and a return to a healthy body. Among these, Kahuna Bodywork stood out as the most transformative. For me, it became a rite of passage—helping me understand myself, take responsibility for my physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and shift from seeking external solutions to looking inward for the answers I needed
After three years, the chronic pain ended. The first thing I did was enrol in Kahuna Bodywork training at the Australian College of Kahuna Sciences under the guidance of my beloved teacher, Ki’a’I Ho’okahi Weber. Now, as I approach my seventh year of training, this journey of self-discovery has profoundly transformed my understanding of healing and my relationship with the world.
It is an honor and privilege to share what I have learned, with my community.
Through Kahuna Bodywork, I help people connect deeply with themselves, their bodies, and the innate wisdom within us all. This practice has reshaped my life—pushing me to my edges, inviting me to go beyond, and ultimately returning me to my centre. It has taught me to accept everything within myself, allowing me to extend that same acceptance to others.
I believe every person and situation deserves to be met without preconceived notions. By witnessing the wholeness of each client and guiding them into motion through Lomi Ka’aleleau, transformation can occur naturally and lovingly.
‘It is, when you are the speaker and the listener, and that which is spoken, in one…..’ ‘It is, when you are the giver, the receiver, and that which is given, in one…..’
